It’s a great afternoon for a coffee

on the back porch under the canopy. The porch itself is only a few feet away from the nearest trees and the cohune palm fronds drip with intensity onto the roof. The sky is a light grey softbox illuminating the entire landscape with a uniform coolness. The pitter patter sound of rain on the canopy reinforces the mood intensely. It’s beautiful here, even with the weather being cool and damp. The birds don’t seem to mind it so how can I?
