Hopkins, Belize is a diverse and enchanting part of the world.

In many ways, Hopkins is all about the vibes you get just from being there, but like most destinations in Belize, there are incredible experiences if you look a little bit deeper. I’ve been to the area several times, yet each time I return, this charming little village holds more in store than previously imagined. It doesn’t really matter where your interests lay, the immediate area surrounding Hopkins proper has something for everybody. As with the recently posted San Ignacio itinerary, the following activities are the most requested; there’s so much more to see and do besides what’s listed here- from drum circles at Driftwood Pizza to any number of dive schools. Be sure that above all else you don’t feel obligated to do everything on the itinerary or limit yourself to what’s listed; part of the fun is to go at your own pace and soak up as much of the scenery, culture and locale that you can manage.
